Common questions
Do you build custom homes on my own lot?
Yes. We build new homes around Snohomish County, from site prep and foundation through final finishes. If you already own land, we can walk it with you and talk through what it'll take to build there.
Is it cheaper to remodel or build new?
Remodeling is usually cheaper when the house has good bones and you mainly want to update or rework the space. Building new starts to make sense when you'd be changing almost everything, or when the foundation or structure has serious problems. We'll give you an honest read on which way makes more sense for your home.
How long does it take to get a building permit in Snohomish County?
It depends on the project and how busy the permit office is. Simple permits can come through in a few weeks, while additions and new homes can take a few months. We'll factor permit time into your schedule from day one so there are no surprises.
How much is the deposit, and how do payments work?
We take a deposit of 30-50% to get on the schedule and order materials. After that, payments are tied to finished milestones, like demo done, rough-ins passed inspection, and cabinets installed. You never pay far ahead of the work.
